Another of Zalman’s important philanthropic organizations is Meor Hatorah.
With Zalman’s help, literally hundreds of families get a monthly
stipend that helps them to get through the hard financial times.

Meor Hatorah is one of the largest organizations of its kind in Israel.

Its only objective is the study of Torah and spreading its teachings throughout the Jewish world. This organization consists of about 25 different locations in which approximately 800 young men study the Torah day and night.

Because of their devotion to their studies, this organization supports their families by giving the men the ability to continue their study unimpeded, without the worry of how bills will get paid.
